KV Barrackpore [AFS] is situated in the secured and lush green campus of the Air Force Station.The Vidyalaya provides a serene and peaceful educational enviroment.It also ensures an allround development and a balanced personality.

The Vidyalaya was established in 1964 .Over the years the school progressed and moved in the spacious 3 storied building. The school caters - Science, Arts,Commerce, IP . Each class has 5 sections each .

If you ever wondered what happened to long-forgotten classmates/seniors/teachers of yours or if you just want to get nostalgic about the wonder yrs of your life, this is the place for you !!

Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore [ AFS ] is situated in the northern end of the City of joy - Kolkata It is situated 15 Km away from kolkata center and also also be touched from sealdah & Howrah station . Established in 1964 these hallowed portals have seen many a child mature into an adult. The school was built to cater to the educational needs of the Indian Air Force base at Barrackpore. It's therefore classified as part of the "defence" sector in the KV Sangathan. It has classes till the 12th standard - for all three streams (Commerce, Humanities & Science). it is the biggest KV in the Kolkata Region and is one of the biggest in india.
